I came up with the idea to add bounties at the bottom of each newsletter, which makes sense given it’s named the Bounty Board, right?? Except, as any respectable bounty hunter knows, you should get a reward for completing your bounty!
That’s where this reward system comes in. Each bounty earns you Bounty Ink Credits, also known as BI Credits/Credits/BIC (That’s what the value at the top is, your current Credits!).
To complete a bounty, simply reply to the newsletter with proof that you’ve done what the bounty asks (which might be sharing some exciting Bounty Ink news, or shouting out your favorite indies, or many other things). The reward will be added to your current total, and you will be notified if you have enough to redeem!
What’s redeemable?
While this is tenable, my current plan is to provide an online store coupon for $5 off in exchange for 100 BIC. Otherwise, I’m not super sure yet on other options, as this is in its experimental phases, but I have many ideas, including but not limited to: Bookmarks, Stickers, Bookplates, Posters, Shirts, Signed books. Once I have more hammered out, you’ll receive another email with this information. Until then, they’re fun points to be used later!
